Sarah, the wife of Abraham, is a complex character in the Bible. She is the wife of the great patriarch of the faith, yet laughed at the promised child and also attempted to use her own wisdom to produce that same child. While these are part of her story, the book of Hebrews still mentions her by name when recalling those who have faithfully believed the Lord.   How can this be?
